They offer very good food(not ambiance) for the money spent. The food is pathetic. Employees at the counter can be better n a little more organized.Very unhygienic! I had never been here before so I ordered the chicken tikka masala because if I don't like that, then I won't go back.
Spring dosa and Malabar paratha are my favorites.We had heard great things about this place, especially how close their food was to authentic South Indian foodie taste buds, however we were horribly disappointed. I'm not a fan of their food cooked within the restaurant. It's not healthy. May be dosas are good, everyone here has those at their tables.Used to love this place and 3 stars for that but did someone notice a change?
Too pricey.That cashier is no where to be seem. Don't let the low Yelp rating stop you from coming here and eating to your heart's content. !One of the worst places to eat in fremont.
They gave me a bowl for the sambar I asked for the plastic to go cup because he doesn't usually finish the serving and I don't want to waste. I will happily update this review if they train their cashiers well.This place got awesome food and good customer service! In comparison to other Asian restaurants, Dosa Place is inexpensive. I have not tried there curries or parathas. This is the only South Indian restaurant where they let you have as much sambar and chutney as you would like and that too at a very affordable price point. How is this business handling reopening? Now I won't come back.This person I think his name is Pramod at the cashier, it seems he is having hard time taking orders and takes way too much to get the right order.
I wouldn't go back there.Forgot this place excited, unless you drive into the plaza, you don't know it's there.Dingy, and small.

Mostly my order involves around south indian snack combos and thalis.Hi everyone i came here at lunch time we ordered combo paratha i think c6 in their menu it tastes good i think price is reasonable here so am giving 5starsI have called these guys to place an order for pick up, I have called them for 30 minutes and no one picked up the call, so I decided to go to this place to get some food . The sambhar was good. Very poor service and never show up on time.

However, I highly recommend their catering services to where they come out to your place and cook. They refused to give me a container to take left over food. The food here is all authentic and actually tastes like Indian food unlike the surrounding places I've been too. are still the same.
