As the title of this review clearly states, I saw the TV series before I read this book, in fact I did not know this book existed and I was quite certain that it would not be a book I would enjoy reading, after all, the series revealed all the secrets. Ive never been to “The House On The Rock”. remained unanswered. I’ve always thought that roadside attractions were fake and silly so never bothered with them.. but I think on my next road trip.. I realize all the things I take for granted living here. But this book just gives me the itch.. wonderful and I also love mythology and old tales! I’ve also lived in Florida and I love Florida so much, I miss it everyday.. the beach, the people.. the slow living life.. but I never appreciated my own State as beautiful as Neil has. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. So Glad I bought the author’s preferred edition as well because I like longer books and also that extra insight from the author! A beautiful book and a world and vision that I hope Gaiman continues to explore for years to come. I have to say sadly I live in Wisconsin and while Neil portrayed my part of the states pretty durn great. If you continue to use this site we will assume that you are happy with it.
