So I asked Kalani if i could go in to tell Desirée and Vera good bye and how Beautiful Vera is I how Proud I am of Desirée and how much Vera Her and Kalani. My own experience as a grandma is completely different, mainly because I live on the other side of the world from my daughter and my 2 grandsons. I am dying of a broken heart, have had rough medical problems since the youngest daughter has treated us like this, and it is so painful because we love her so much, and could be of great service to her family.Submitted by Christine Jackson on September 3, 2018 - 1:06amYes, it bothers you not to see your granddaughter and for your daughter to act the way she does. The only thing I decided was that I would be try to be positive and supportive for my daughters in their parenting choices and a fun influence for my grandchildren. They had enough to contend with in my opinion and if they wanted to talk to me about any issues, they knew they could do so. I remember reading each of your blog posts for your grandchildren being born. Maybe you call her Granny. Grandmothers today are likely to be healthy, relatively fit and up for a game of tennis or a ski trip (on the moderate slopes).It’s those last few words that I can relate to the most – I am a different ‘being’ to the mother I was to my daughters, who are now mothers themselves. This to will pass and if not..then you know what? During that time together depending on the children’s age do whatever you like! Never ever.
