I heard such good reviews from my foodie friends that this place have delicious food. I recommend ordering several different items and sharing with your table as you will want to taste everything...We had the focaccia with burrata - so so tasty! I came here on a Saturday with a group of 6, and there was an hour wait - I wish this place took reservations! I wish we had more time to spend and try other food. There can be very long lines during lunchtime especially on weekends, and there's a reason for that. The basil was quite literally the best part. Also the wings were tiny and barely yielded any meat. Even on a Monday night, the place was packed and very loud - unpleasantly loud - 50/60 something-year-old ears might have a very hard time hearing conversation at...If you ever want to feel like you're eating fresh veggies right from the garden, this is your place. From all the reviews and what my friend told me is that they don't do reservations. After about 45 mins of waiting, we were seated inside in an obnoxiously loud dining room. We've been trying to come here a few times but the long wait times have deterred us. Finally made it in Friday night after getting quoted a wait time of two hours we ended up being seated in one hour. I just paid an arm and a leg to have this pathetic pizza delivered to me. Each drink embellished with fresh...My husband and I were visiting our daughter and her fiance who just moved to the neighborhood. The Margherita, simply prepared with tomato, basil, and mozzarella, is just as disappointing as I remember.

It was easily done over the phone, and everything we ordered was brought to us hot and fresh.I got the Black Pepper Spaghetti order to-go.. simple yet SO delicious. Since reservations were not possible we arrived early, about 5:30 pm, which we thought would minimize the wait since the restaurant opens at 5. Like I said before, the pasta is where it's at here!I've wanted to check out Coltivare for a while now, ever since it landed a top 10 slot in the Houston Chronicle's annual restaurant list.
