However, I still think the warrior and builder races need to be more different from each other:Mrrshan: Beam offense, Command Points, Elite TroopsBulrathi: Ground Combat, Ship capturing via Assault shuttlesSakkra: Growth, fast colonization & exploration, (cheaper ships + worse science aka "feudal" ) Klackon: Low tech species, should simply be unable to build a whole lot of buildings (especially morale buildings) but at the same time have productive population. because those just become "every custom race has them because you dont lose anything for getting these points, if you just nuke every planet instead of invading, your populace is better workers then your slaves would be anyway"To those that want to increase the amount of points they can get, take the -production or - growth options, i could agree that those should give a lot of points, but no one suggest that, cause i bet no one has actualy taken those traits in their custom races.I can agree on starting techs being cheaper (as long as they are mutualy exclusive, i dont remember).How would you get an early huge ultra rich planet? Lead one of 10 playable races across vast galaxies, crushing worlds, manipulating leaders, and amassing resources in your bid to become the Master of Orion.News that guides you on your path to conquer the stars. -5 picks for -25% penalty is too low. Klackon should basically not *need* buildings, they should be fine from scratch.Silicoid: Should be able to colonize even the worst planets from scratch and even favor them. A drop to 40 picks should suffice.
