I purchased this for my wife as a gift as an addition to a smaller dining room. It was not difficult to put together but took a little time.

The longest part of assembly was where to place the 5 rings and where to hang/attach the end of the crystals strands.





Nothing is quite as elegant as the fine crystal chandeliers that gave sparkle to brilliant evenings at palaces and manor houses across Europe.


I also recommend buying the ceiling medallion Amazon suggests, and painting it.

I did need my husband and his buddy to install it - one caveat: the directions / diagram are not the best, so if you (like me) are not good at putting things together you might need some help. So just know that if you plan to hang using a ceiling medallion that's ornate (and thicker) you will need to find a longer threaded pipe to use for this.

The threaded pipe that comes with this chandelier is NOT standard but metric and VERY hard to find a replacement (company said they didn't have longer ones and couldn't help us). This helped a lot because again directions a vague.
