I really LOVE the soundtrack for this movie, which is hard to say because I HATE some of the types of music, artists, and songs used. I wasn't disappointed and hopefully nobody else will be either. That’s why we think our product is aptly named when we describe the listener experience as being “Center Stage”. Obviously, that's not in the movie either. Unfortunately, this is a very disappointing product.

The down side is that the CD has some songs that sound way different than they do in the movie....if I am buying the soundtrack from a movie, I want it to sound just like it did when I watched it.

The movie songs and audio were phenomenal on the DVD so I had high expectations for buying the CD soundtrack.

I also wish they would have included a few more of the songs from the movie, such as the remixes Anna Kendrick's character makes, or when she sings 'Bulletproof' mixed with their performance song. Not true. After seeing the film twice in the cinema in the week of release, my wife and I couldn't get the songs out of our heads - which was pretty frustrating until we had the soundtrack to sing along to properly. For a few dollars more, it is worth it.
