A movie that starts out with the "Man in the Mirror" music video, it then changes to a montage of video clips of Michael's career. Was this review helpful? Ah, Moonwalker, I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan, I grew up with his music, Thriller was actually the first music video I ever saw apparently.

From his hit 'I want you back' to 'We are the World' the multi-award winning charity record for the benefit of Africa. I had so much fun, I would love to show my son this movie. The film then backtracks to show Michael and the children playing in a meadow in happier times.

I can't wait for it to come out on DVD! Originally released in the fall of 1988. With Moonwalker, he and the filmmakers and artists who collaborated with him once again took his music and dance moves to create some vividly entertaining stuff, incorporating claymation, special effects, live performance footage, and even self-parody (the "Badder" sequence). I enjoy every second of it and not only does the film have some great special affects but its sends a great message to the youngsters of the audience which may sound sheesy but in actual fact the movie is done very COOLY in actual fact! 15 out of 22 found this helpful. Michael Jackson produced/co-wrote and starred in one of the most successful anthology films of all time. Any fan of Michael's should see this, if you haven't already. Incredible FX, great music and a nice time to enjoy with your kids. 2 more videos are shown, and then a movie in which Michael plays a hero with magical powers. Just seeing this lovely guy and hearing his wonderful music is a trip to Heaven for me.

"Moonwalker" breaks all rules, laws, and scripts in the film making history. While Katie manages to wriggle free, Mr. Big decides he's had enough and orders his men to kill Katie before finishing off Michael, but not before a falling star flies by. It doesn't have a plot, nor a central storyline. 27 out of 40 found this helpful. In the conclusion to "Smooth Criminal", Sean, Katie and Zeke return to the city, believing that Michael is gone forever. As he exits the set, he is spotted by tourists and they suddenly begin to chase him for an autograph.

It contains a message on drugs, stunning special effects, and an awesome music video. There also should be a few uninterrupted videos. This movie features sweet tunes, MJ as robot, and a crazy, messed-up plot. But as a movie, it's not good at all, and I'm afraid, that it would get a much lower grade for me, if my darling Mike hadn't been the one starring in it. The giant robot was shelved for a smaller one that would have manned the door of a Michael Jackson–themed hotel and casino. But Moonwalker was what started to be a tribute to all of Michael's success of the time right when he released his famous Bad album that was record breaking, was the first album to have 6 top ten singles. In an attempt to avoid the overzealous fans (including camera-happy Japanese tourists accompanied by stereotyped "Oriental" music, the press, and even After a long chase, the fans/press are finally thwarted by crashing into a giant (Claymation) cop and are arrested. I was a kid .. crazy about Michael Jackson. without doubt the Smooth Criminal piece must go down as the greatest coreogaphed music video of all time. 3 out of 3 found this helpful. I love all of the videos in this movie. He takes off his rabbit costume and it then suddenly comes to The segment begins with three homeless children (Sean, Katie, and Zeke) sneaking through a big city to see their friend Michael moving out of his apartment. As I've grown older, I've become more interested in the acting as well. The film's segments are meant to represent the different stages in Jackson's career and were based on his own view of how his fans idolized him rather than listening to the messages he wanted to say with his music. I was about nine years old, and now I'm 27. Michael Jackson's This Is It is a 2009 American documentary–concert film about Michael Jackson's rehearsals and preparation for the concert series of the same name scheduled to start on July 13, 2009, but cancelled due to his death eighteen days prior on June 25. I was quite surprised to read some of the comments on this work, honestly.

This is, in my opinion, a very good film, especially for Michael Jackson lovers. As Michael stands in front of the door, he notices a falling star before he is ambushed by mobsters with machine guns. The only thing I could have done without was the spiders.

I remember playing the video game on Sega Genisis.

The "Badder" sequence could've been left out, though the kids were pretty good. It's a rather artistic anthology of mostly long-form videos, all of them rather smartly or creatively done.
