Of course the writing style doesn't come close to the perfection that is Jane Austen - she sometimes uses cliches that are pretty anachronistic ("giddy as a schoolgirl" or "cut my losses and search for greener pastures") - but it was a page-turner and an entertaining re-telliI thought this book would be a fun way to pass the time...It was a fun read; it paralleled Pride & Prejudice very closely and I thought it did a pretty good job giving some believable insight into Mr. Darcy's point of view.
